Department- CTO Distributed Compute
In this role, you will:
Responsible for coding and maintaining Ansible code of Tooling modules/packages
Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement of tooling in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
Provide consultation on/assist customer code development
Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews
Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents
Support new and existing Ansible tooling modules development, deployment and configuration
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Highly experienced in Automation technologies and their use in Server configuration – Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform
Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable (eg Puppet)
Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
Strong knowledge of SDLC and DEPL controls
