THIS IS A LONG TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADER.Work Hours: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST (Afternoon Shift)Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Adobe Forms Development, ABAP programming, and S/4 HANA integration. The consultant will design, develop, test, and maintain custom programs and enhancements within SAP using ABAP while collaborating with functional teams to deliver scalable and optimized solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesABAP & Forms Development- Design, develop, and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements (BADI, User Exits), CDS Views, AMDP, and OData services- Develop Adobe Forms from scratch and migrate Smart Forms/Scripts to Adobe Forms- Integrate Adobe Forms with ABAP programs, workflows, and core business processes- Implement dynamic fields, conditional logic, and scripting (Java Script/Form Calc) in Adobe Forms- Work with APIs and Gateway services for Fiori integration and 3rd-party system communicationIntegration & Configuration- Configure output management in S/4 HANA (BRF+, Output Types) for form printing- Integrate forms with SAP Output Management Framework (OMF)- Support automated PDF generation and email distributionPerformance & Quality- Optimize ABAP objects and forms for performance (SQL tuning, large data handling)- Conduct unit testing and support SIT/UAT cycles- Implement proper error handling, logging, and troubleshooting for ABAP programs and print solutionsDocumentation & Support- Prepare technical specifications, mapping documents, and user guides- Provide production support for Adobe Forms and ABAP-related issues- Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and refine requirementsAdditional Skills (Good to Have)- SAP Output Control Framework (OMF) knowledge- Experience with SAP Adobe Document Services (ADS)- Workflow integration and email-triggering expertise- Exposure to SAP S/4 HANA migration projects (e.g., Smart Forms/Scripts to Adobe)Preferred Qualifications- 8+ years of experience in SAP BRIM S/4 HANA (On-Prem/Private Cloud) on 1909/2020- Experience with Open Text e-invoicing and global tax compliance- Hands-on knowledge of SAP integration tools and best practices- Strong business acumen with understanding of global taxation regulationsPrimary Skills: Adobe Forms Development, BADI, User Exits, OData Services, BRIM S/4 HANASecondary Skills: Open Text-Exstream knowledgeOur large, Fortune client is ranked as one of the best companies to work with, in the world.
