The Indian subsidiary

POSITION: PLM IT Specialist

POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced and passionate expert in PLM technology to join the team at the Indian subsidiary of the company. As a PLM IT Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in designing and implementing solutions for the Engineering team using the Siemens Teamcenter platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PLM tools like (Teamcenter/Active Workspace/NX, Rapid Author, CAPITAL, Simcenter 3D Etc.), Teamcenter functionality, business processes, and how to align PLM capabilities with organizational needs. This position also responsible for global support for server-side troubleshooting, server architecture design and maintenance, Server side and client side customizations.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with Business users to transform the business requirements into system-based solutions focused on PLM and Enterprise Engineering/Manufacturing platforms.Drive end user adoption by supporting the use cases, working with product vendors and consulting partners to drive capability enhancements to the business process and product features.Find opportunities, challenges, and gaps in the business processes and help architect technology strategy and roadmap to address them.Provide domain expertise on complex PLM projects.PLM (Teamcenter/Active Workspace) and other Engineering application troubleshooting support.Engineering applications license management.Maintain and enhance server architecture.Support and develop Client/Server side customization of PLM tools.Participate in release upgrade or new functionality / enhancement assessments.Support CAD and other Engineering application Integration to PLM.Prepare business (functional) specifications for process design, enhancements, etc.Develop business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.Support PLM related server administration activities, which includes server security and auditing.Support PLM customization and patching deployment activities.Provide strategic guidance and support in PLM tools upgrades to maintain supported versions and execute the same.Organize and prepare work effectively to facilitate proactive resolution of problems.Note: These statements are intended to describe the general nature of the job and are intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills and duties.

EXPERIENCE

8-12 years of Experience in PLM as Consultant and Developer with strong focus on Siemens PLM tools.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

5+ years of Experience in Teamcenter application modules, configuration, BMIDE, ITK, AWC development.Strong understanding of PLM concepts and business processes.Extensive knowledge of Teamcenter modules and their applications in various industries.Proficiency in configuring and customizing Active Workspace latest versions.Knowledge of major coding language (C++/Java/C#)Knowledge of new web technologies (Node.js, AngularJS ,

Micro Services, JavaScript Etc.)Proficiency in Teamcenter SOA, and ability to create custom Services.Knowledge of JAVA RCP.Experience with Teamcenter applications such as Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Query Builder, Classification, and Report Builder, etc.Windows server knowledge with Teamcenter architecture and installation/Patching/Upgrade.Understanding of integration points between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems (ERP, CAD, etc.)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Stay up to date with industry trends, process improvement tools, and emerging technologies to continuously improve efficiency.
