Responsibilities

  • Collaborateclosely with cross functional teams to comprehensively gather andanalyze project requirements ensuring a deep understanding ofclient expectations.
  • Design and developresponsive websites and web applications using web technologieswhile adhering to industry best practices and codingstandards.
  • Optimize website performance todeliver fast load times and seamless user experiences acrossvarious devices and browsers.
  • Implement andcustomize ecommerce platforms seamlessly integrating paymentgateways shopping carts and other essentialfeatures.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and qualityassurance procedures to identify and rectify any bugs or issuesguaranteeing the flawless functioning of websites and webapplications.
  • Stay abreast of the latestindustry trends tools and technologies and proactively proposeenhancements to elevate website functionality and userexperience.
  • Collaborate with graphic designersand UX/UI teams to create visually cohesive and appealing webdesigns.
  • Provide prompt troubleshooting andsupport for existing websites and web applications addressing anytechnical challenges that may arise.
  • Documenttechnical specifications and deliver accurate estimations forprojectmilestones.

Requirements

  • Holda Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or arelated field. Equivalent experience will beconsidered.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years ofproven experience in website and web development emphasizingecommerce solutions.
  • Possess proficiency inHTML CSS JavaScript and relevant frameworks (e.g. ReactAngularJS).
  • Handson experience with ecommerceplatforms like Magento WooCommerce orShopify.
  • Sound knowledge of PHP or other serverside programming languages.
  • Familiarity withdatabases including MySQL and MongoDB along with proficiency inwriting efficient SQL queries.
  • Understand SEOprinciples and best practices to optimize websiteperformance.
  • Exhibit excellent problemsolvingskills with the ability to debug and troubleshooteffectively.
  • Have strong attention to detailand the capability to multitask in a fastpacedenvironment.
  • Possess good communication skillsand the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverseteam.
