Position SummaryWe're on the lookout for a Trainee Instructional Designer who's enthusiastic about transforming learning experiences through cutting-edge technology and multimedia. If you're passionate about this, you might be the perfect fit

In this role, you'll dive into creating courses tailored for employees of various Fortune 500 companies. You'll merge elements of psychology, creativity, and innovation to address both business and learning obstacles head-on.

Job DescriptionIf you are selected, you get an opportunity to be a part of our ‘award-winning’ 200+ hour boot camp where we will onboard you to perform the following:

Content Research and AnalysisWriting measurable learning objectives (there's a science to it)Analyzing reference material to see how it fits the objectives.

Content developmentChunking available content into easy-to-understand pieces.Identifying useful activities that would enhance learning.Visualizing instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product; you'll create storyboards in MS PowerPoint and MS Word for interactive online eLearning, videos, and instructor-led training programs.Developing supporting learning resources such as assessments, case studies, job aids, and instructor guides

Production supportCoordinating with the production team to translate the storyboard into a living, breathing learning module.Reviewing produced e-courseware and ensure quality.

The ideal candidate would possess an optimum combination of the following competencies and qualifications.

Core Competencies

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing. This entails expressing complex ideas clearly and concisely, actively listening to others, and providing articulate feedback.

Understanding of Generative AI tools:

Basic awareness of the fundamentals of Gen AI tools and their practical applications.

Attention to Detail:

Demonstrates a keen eye for detail in all facets of instructional design, including content accuracy, consistency, and quality assurance.

QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass communication, Communications, English Literature, Linguistics, Sociology, or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in language, communication theories, and social sciences.

Expectations from YouProficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).Basic understanding of webcams, headsets, and other computer peripherals.Understanding of time management and ability to multitask is expected.An eye for graphic design and/or user experienceOriginal, out of the box thinking and creativity; ability to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative ideas.Basic understanding of instructional design is desirable.Awareness of Rapid Authoring Tools such as Articulate Storyline, RISE, Captivate is desirable.
