We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

P&C Actuary

to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in P&C actuarial work with proven expertise inReserving/IFRS17/Solvency II/Capital modelling . The ideal candidate will have a strong analyticalbackground, the ability to support complex actuarial projects and project manage.

Key responsibilities

∙Provide actuarial services to P&C (Re)Insurers and Lloyd’s Syndicates.∙Assist clients with Solvency II Technical Provision and Capital modelling calculations and reporting.∙Assist clients with the implementation and compliance of IFRS 17.∙Provide expert advice on the impact of IFRS17 on financial reporting.∙Conduct actuarial analysis and prepare reports for regulatory reporting.∙Lead/Assist multiple actuarial projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution.∙Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and transformation.∙Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new service opportunities.∙Mentor junior actuaries and promote a collaborative team environment.∙Provide technical guidance on complex actuarial issues.

Experience & Qualifications

∙Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.∙Member of IFoA or IAI and making good exam progress towards the Fellowship.∙2 to 5 years of experience in P&C actuarial work, with a strong focus on Reserving, Solvency II andIFRS17.∙Good understanding of the interaction between various insurance functions and ability to liaise with functional heads.∙Excellent client management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong clientrelationships.∙Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.∙Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex actuarialconcepts to non-technical stakeholders.∙Exemplify Company's core values of integrity, collaboration, ownership, respect, and perfection.
