Job Description: Principal SAP Consultant


Experience : 12+


Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad/ Chennai


We are seeking a highly skilled Principal SAP Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in our transition towards S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) developments. As a Principal SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding our team, defining development approaches, and establishing development guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:


Assist the team in transitioning to S/4HANA and BTP developments, providing expertise and guidance throughout the process.

Define the appropriate approach and development guidelines for S/4HANA and BTP projects.

Utilize deep understanding and extensive experience with the ABAP language and SAP development tools to deliver high-quality solutions.

Demonstrate technical proficiency in ABAP, including data structures, interfacing, performance tuning, code optimization, SAP enhancements, and output generation using SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

Utilize SAP ABAP capabilities on the ABAP 7.50 development stack (ECC6 EhP8 with ABAP 7.50 ).

Possess at least one module understanding from Finance (FI) and/or Purchasing (PO ), enabling effective collaboration with functional teams.

Drive S/4HANA developments, including both on HANA systems and BTP environments.


Qualifications and Experience:


Proven experience as a Senior SAP Consultant, with a focus on ABAP development.

Extensive technical experience within ABAP and SAP development, including a deep understanding of data structures, interfacing, and performance optimization.

Proficiency in SAP enhancements and outputs using SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP on the ABAP 7.50 development stack.

Strong understanding of at least one SAP module, such as Finance (FI) and/or Purchasing (PO).

Experience with S/4HANA developments, including HANA systems and BTP.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
