Key ResponsibilitiesThe GM - Corporate Communications will lead the development and execution of comprehensive communication strategies to enhance the organization’s brand, reputation, and engagement with stakeholders. This role requires an experienced leader who excels in public relations, internal communications and brand storytelling, ensuring a consistent voice across all channels.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Communication PlanningDevelop and implement a robust corporate communication strategy aligned with business objectivesCraft and deliver messaging that reflects the company’s vision, mission, and valuesPublic Relations and Media ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key influencersDrive press releases, media events, and proactive outreach to secure positive coverageManage responses to media inquiries and oversee crisis communication effortsInternal CommunicationsOversee internal communication initiatives to foster employee engagement and alignment with organizational goalsDevelop content for town halls, newsletters, and executive communicationsBrand and Thought LeadershipEstablish the company as a thought leader through strategic content creation, executive positioning, and public speaking opportunitiesOversee the development of corporate collateral, including presentations, annual reports, and marketing materialsDigital and Social MediaLead the organization’s presence on digital platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and engagementMonitor trends and analytics to optimize content and outreach strategiesStakeholder EngagementDevelop communication strategies for key stakeholders, including investors, government bodies, and industry partnersSupport CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives and communicate their impact effectivelyTeam LeadershipLead and mentor a team of communication professionalsFoster a collaborative and high-performance work environmentBudget ManagementManage the corporate communication budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

Qualifications and SkillsEducat ion: Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.Experience12+ years of experience in corporate communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership roleProven experience in managing large-scale communication campaigns and crisis communicationTechnical SkillsProficiency in communication tools and platforms (e.g., MS Office, CMS, and social media analytics)Familiarity with media monitoring tools and stakeholder mapping techniquesSoft SkillsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesStrategic thinker with problem-solving capabilities
