About Investment Research
As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you’ll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve
Workingwith the research management support team of an investment bank (the team willbe based in Japan or Hong Kong) Measuringthe performance and output of research analysts and teams and assessing theoverall business vis-à-vis competitors Conductingextensive analysis of data and managing projects and initiatives to help drivethe strategy of the department in different regions Composingcorrespondence in Japanese and English Communicatingeffectively across different levels / teams Creatingand modifying documents using Microsoft Office Providingadministrative support for setting up project meetings on firm platform Respondto regional demand on performance metrics on various dimensions Respondto Ad hoc requests/management projectsWhat we’re looking for:
About 1-5years of work experience in a similar profile, including at least 1 year in thefinance industry Graduationin any discipline and certification in the Japanese language Business-levelknowledge of Japanese and English; knowledge of Mandarin will be an advantage Theability to effectively present Theability to extract key takeaways and convey them in an actionable form tosenior stakeholders StrongExcel skills, as the role involves analysis of large and complex data chunks Knowledgeof MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Theability to work well in a team Theability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks within deadlines Attentionto detail and an aim to always create high-quality deliverables Flexibilityand adaptability to changing needs and nature of the role Aconfident self-starter with strong communication and analytical skills Acandidate who is self-motivated and organized in the approach to workDisclaimer: The following job description serves as an informative reference for the tasks you may be required to perform.
