About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager with a strong Java background who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will not only manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables but also possess the ability to understand Java code, architecture, and technical discussions with the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of software development projects (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid).
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are well understood and translated into effective solutions.
  • Review technical designs, understand Java code and frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.) to ensure feasibility and maintain alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and project reviews.
  • Track project risks, dependencies, and resolve blockers by coordinating across teams.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables within scope, time, and budget.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, status reports, and stakeholder updates.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to simplify complex concepts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, including at least 3–5 years as a Project Manager.
  • Hands-on background in Java/J2EE development with strong understanding of OOP, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, etc. (recent coding experience not mandatory, but code-level understanding is required).
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end SDLC projects .
  • Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Project Management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Trello).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.

Good to Have:

  • PMP, CSM, or PRINCE2 certification.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) .
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes).
