You will develop and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve issues. Your role will be crucial in delivering high-quality software that meets user requirements and performs seamlessly.G) Key Responsibilities:1) Develop Test Plans and Strategies:Create detailed test plans based on project requirements.Define testing strategies for various aspects of the software, including functional, performance, security, and usability testing.2) Design and Execute Tests:Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.Execute test cases and document results, ensuring thorough coverage of all use cases and edge cases.3) Identify and Report Bugs:Identify defects and issues within the software.Report bugs in a clear and concise manner, providing detailed steps to reproduce, severity, and priority.Work with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.4) Automate Tests:Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration pipeline.5) Perform Regression Testing:Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively affect existing functionality.6) Maintain Documentation:Document test plans, test cases, and test results.Keep records of test progress, outcomes, and any issues encountered.7) Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.Participate in design and specification reviews to provide input from a testing perspective.H) Qualifications:1) Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.2) Experience:0-1 year of experience in software testing or quality assurance.Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete.3) Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or C#.Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking tools (e.g., Bugzilla, Mantis).Knowledge of continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.4) Analytical Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to analyze requirements and design effective test strategies.5) Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation.6) Preferred Qualifications:ISTQB or equivalent certification.Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
