Role andResponsibilities:
The Presales VMware roleat Niyati Tech involves providing valuable support to the VMwaresales team focusing on identifying and pursuing virtualinfrastructure business opportunities within various clientportfolios. This position requires the ability to present VMwareproduct features and benefits to different levels of prospectsprovide strategic vision about the VMware product family evangelizecurrent and future VMware products and technologies and drive thedesign of customeroriented solutions using VMware. Additionally therole entails establishing positive working relationshipsproactively seeking out new sales opportunities ensuring thesuccess of customer proofofconcepts (PoCs) and participating in theSE discussion forum. The incumbent should also assume the role of amentor to other system engineers and create training content forthe SE organization whenappropriate.
KeyResponsibilities:
  • Present VMwareproduct features and benefits to Managers and Director Levelprospects
  • Provide technical and strategicvision about the VMware product family
  • DescribeVMware s key messages and vision and discuss key benefits forcustomers
  • Maintain current knowledge ofcomplete VMware product set and describe key features and benefitsof each
  • Establish positive workingrelationships internal and external
  • Proactivelyseek out new sales opportunities
  • Evangelizecurrent and future VMware products and technologies with anemphasis on large enterprise deployments and/or verticalsolutions
  • Drive the design of customerorientedsolutions using VMware
  • Participate on aconsistent basis in the SE discussionforum
  • Assume the role of a mentor to othersystem engineers
  • Create training content forthe SEorganization

CandidateQualifications:
Qualification in businessor engineering discipline or equivalent training and industryexperience
Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency withmajor server operating systems (UNIX/Linux or WindowsServer)
Good understanding of Virtualization concepts andcompetitive positioning knowledge
Strong understanding ofEnterprise technology including SMP servers storage arrays storagenetworking network protocols and general connectivity inmultiplatform enterprise environments
Open systemsadministration and management technical sales or consultingexperience prioritizing and organizing skills
Effectiveverbal and written communication skills including excellentpresentation skills
Fluent in English and Hindi
Demonstrates high ethics and integrity is respected
Willingness to travel at shortnotice
