Specifically, an Azure Engineer, Tier 2 will:

  • Design and develop cloud architectures using Azure services and best practices
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and client.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, reliability, and availability of cloud solutions
  • Optimize cloud resources and costs
  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance and issues
  • Document and update cloud architectures and processes
  • Stay updated with the latest cloud computing trends and technologies
  • Design and deploy network solutions using Azure Virtual Network, Azure VPN Gateway, and other Azure networking services.
  • Design, deploy, and manage applications using Azure App Services, Function App, and other PaaS Services ensuring they are scalable, resilient, and secure.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of development and operational processes.
  • Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Follow the best practices for cloud and DevOps.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ensuring consistency and reliability in cloud resource management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in cloud architecture, development, and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing applications using Azure App Services, Function App Containers,Container Apps, and Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure networking services, features, and capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Certification in Azure Administration and Azure DevOps or equivalent is a plus
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance
