Job Title: Senior Eng, Test

Grade - 16

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled resource software test engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing data & analytics projects testing efforts for software development projects, and for ensuring the quality and functionality of the final product.

Responsibilities:

Ø Developing test scripts, test requirements, and test cases in accordance with Functional Specifications.

Ø Perform system, integration, regression, functional, and UAT testing.

Ø Coordinating and executing tests to verify product functionality, performance, and stability.

Ø Analyzing test results and providing timely feedback to the development team.

Ø Working with the development team to identify, document, and track defects.

Ø Ensuring that the software meets all quality requirements and standards.

Ø Creating and maintaining test documentation.

Ø Perform front and backend testing while suggesting quality enhancements and providing technical assistance for the assigned area of expertise.

Ø Working with the stake holders to ensure that the software is released on time and with the expected quality.

Ø Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for software development projects.

Ø Ensuring that all tests are executed in a timely and efficient manner.

Ø Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve any issues or bugs in the software product.

Ø Develop and maintain test cases and test suites, using both manual and automated testing methods.

Ø Ensure the quality and functionality of the final product and provide regular updates to stakeholders on testing progress.

Ø Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in testing and quality assurance.

Ø Provide ongoing support to development teams on testing-related matters.

Qualifications:

Ø Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Ø 6 - 9 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.

Ø 3+ years of experience into data & analytics projects

Ø Strong Knowledge of the Data visualization tools Tableau Or BI

Ø Strong learning and comprehension of SQL and capacity to write SQL Queries.

Ø Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and processes, including but not limited to Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps.

Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate testing processes and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ø Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ø Exposure to ALM tool

Ø Software Development Life Cycle, Testing Life Cycle, Bug Life cycle

Ø Certifications in software testing (e.g. ISTQB) and Automated Testing Tools are a plus.min 3 yrs into data analytics and Tableau Or BI,STLC,Testing certification,Agile & Devops,6+yrs into testing/QA
