Lead

Consultant, AEM DeveloperIn this role, you will be responsible for crafting clean, functional code that flawlessly suits the needs of the company. Your main focus will be coding and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. To support Engineer using Agile Methodology and should have an end to end understanding of business use cases, to transform them into an effective and strategic solution. Work with business people to have a real time problem and, craft the solution which really fits into client needs.

Responsibilities

Develop features in AEM applications based on user stories and technical designsContribute to requirements gathering and analysis activities such as user stories etc.Create AEM components and page templates, combining backend Java, HTML/CSS, and frontend JavaScript frameworks technologiesWork with architects to ensure that scalable AEM solutions are createdHelp assign, review, and unblock development tasks to maximize delivery velocityCreate server-side Servlets, Sling Models, OSGi configs, etc. to support web interfacesSupport the account lead and project manager in key meetings as the technical SMEOwn and support feature-focused unit and system testingSupport performance, security, and load testing activities, including issue remediation

Experience working with Adobe Cloud Manager for deploymentsExperience working with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)Experience using Adobe Target, Campaign, Analytics, Launch, and I/O, and how each of these integrates with AEMExperience with server management in cloud ecosystems like Azure or AWSUnderstanding of modern, efficient web-based development and responsive design techniques in conjunction with NPM, Webpack, SASS, grid frameworks, and modern JavaScript frameworksRelevant experience required in AEMUnderstanding of object-oriented programming and computer science foundationsFoundational understanding of Java 11+, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (i.e. React, Angular, Vue)Experience working with the Java Content Repository (JCR)Experience with Git and work tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOpsExperience developing custom components, including leveraging and extending Adobe’s core componentsUnderstanding of the i18n dictionary and how AEM translations workUnderstanding of editable templates and template/component policiesHands-on experience building scalable web applications, in particular building high frequency and low latency web apps with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability as a key focusExperience in consulting and prior working experience with Project Management teamsThirst for knowledge and an abundance of curiosity.
