Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for Jr Data Scientists and Data Scientists at AIDASTECH, Coimbatore. The role involves tasks such as data science, statistical analysis, data analytics, data visualization, and data analysis to provide AI-driven insights for clients.


  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data can be leveraged to drive effective business solutions and informed decision-making. 
  • Extract and analyze data from various systems and databases. Integrate and prepare analytical data sets for further processing. 
  • Formulate hypotheses to create models or validate assumptions aimed at solving specific business problems. 
  • Develop, test, debug, implement, and document Python programs with a focus on data engineering and statistical/machine learning models.
  • Data cleaning/wrangling and Developing models for pattern detection, insights generation, exploratory and statistical analysis, forecasting, and prediction 
  • Link model outputs to business metrics and communicate findings to business stakeholders to gain approval for implementation. 
  • Develop processes for implementing models, monitoring outcomes, and evaluating model performance. 


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Experience in using statistical packages, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn and Text Mining libraries in Python
  • Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Data Analysis skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge and experience in handling data bases (preferably MS SQL Server or equivalent)
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
