As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an accomplished
Director – Cloud & Infrastructure
to
lead global infrastructure strategy, operations, and pre-sales engagements

Role Overview

The
Director – Cloud & Infrastructure
will head the organization's Infrastructure Practice globally, with responsibilities spanning
internal IT, customer-facing projects, pre-sales solutioning, vendor management, cybersecurity alignment, and 24x7 command center operations
.

This is a
hands-on leadership role
requiring operational excellence, strategic foresight, and strong customer engagement skills

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

• Lead and scale the global Cloud & Infrastructure team, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and implement strategies across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Advise senior leadership on infrastructure roadmaps, adoption strategies, and cybersecurity integration.
• Drive a culture of service excellence, innovation, and high team performance.

Cloud & Infrastructure Management

• Oversee design, deployment, and operations of
  Azure and AWS environments
  .
• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure – servers, storage, networks, virtualization – ensuring scalability and uptime.
• Execute hybrid cloud strategies and large-scale cloud migration projects.

Command Center Operations

• Lead 24x7 Command Center / NOC operations for proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Define SLAs, escalation processes, and RCA mechanisms for critical incidents.

Vendor & Partner Management

• Manage global vendor ecosystem including MSPs, cloud providers, and technology partners.
• Negotiate contracts, optimize costs, and ensure service compliance.

Cybersecurity Alignment

• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to strengthen infrastructure security posture.
• Support vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response planning.

Pre-Sales & Solutioning

• Partner with sales teams in
  customer-facing pre-sales
  for Infrastructure and Cybersecurity services.
• Develop proposals, SOWs, RFP/RFI responses, and deliver solution workshops/demos.
• Present value-driven solutions to CXOs and decision-makers.

End-User Support

• Oversee global end-user computing and service desk operations.
• Define KPIs for user satisfaction, SLA compliance, and support performance.

Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow teams of cloud architects, engineers, NOC staff, and analysts across locations.
• Drive workforce planning, capability building, and succession planning.

Required Qualifications

• 12–15 years
  in IT Infrastructure, with
  3–5 years in leadership roles
  .
• Proven expertise in
  Azure & AWS architecture, migration, and operations
  .
• Experience managing
  multi-location teams, Command Center/NOC/SOC
  operations.
• Solid grounding in
  cybersecurity practices
  and collaboration with security teams.
• Strong
  vendor management
  (contracts, compliance, cost optimization).
• Demonstrated
  pre-sales expertise
  – proposals, solutioning, client workshops.
• Hands-on leadership in
  end-user support & SLA-driven service management
  .
• Excellent communication and
  C-level stakeholder engagement
  skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Certifications like
  Azure Architect, ITIL, PMP, CISSP
  are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, ManageEngine, etc.).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation frameworks.
• Exposure to compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.
