About the role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior UX Designer to join our team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our digital banking platforms. You will lead design initiatives, mentor junior designers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-centered designs. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership : Lead and oversee the UX design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality design solution.
User Resear ch: Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions and validate design solution.
Design Strategy : Develop and implement design strategies that align with business objectives and user need.
Wireframing and Prototypi ng: Create detailed wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
Usability Testin g: Plan, conduct, and analyze usability testing sessions to gather actionable insights and iterate on design.
Collaboratio n: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals.
Design System s: Lead the development and maintenance of our design system to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
Mentorshi p: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
Innovation : Stay abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate best practices into the team's work.
Documentation : Document design processes, user flows, and interactions to ensure clarity and transparency within the team.
Qualifications
Educati on: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field from NID or a comparable institution.
Experienc e: 5+ years of experience in UX design, preferably within the fintech or SaaS industry.
Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your UX design work, including research, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.
Key Skills
Expert proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems creatively.
Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus.
