What you’ll be doing:

Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze complex business requirements to design and implement efficient data models.Develop and optimize DAX and M queries for advanced data manipulation. Power BI Development: Design and create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards.Customize and extend Power BI functionality through advanced scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).Implement complex calculations and business logic within Power BI. Power Platform Integration: Leverage Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate) to create integrated solutions.Embed Power BI reports into Power Apps and vice versa for a unified user experience.Automate workflows and processes using Power Automate. Scripting and Automation: Develop scripts to automate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.Implement scripting solutions to enhance Power BI functionality and automate routine tasks.Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines using scripting languages. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand data sources.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate advanced analytics into Power BI. Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI, Power Platform, and scripting solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reports, dashboards, and data processes. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Power BI and scripting.Continuously optimize and enhance existing reports and scripts based on user feedback and evolving business needs.

What we need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong understanding of data visualization principles. Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or others. Proficiency in DAX and M queries. Strong SQL skills and experience working with various data sources. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills: Certifications in Power BI, Power Platform, Databricks, and Snowflake. Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning integration in Power BI. Knowledge of Azure services related to Power BI and scripting. Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Azure. Familiarity with version control systems for managing scripts.
