Role: Solution Architect – Azure

Location: Bangalore (Open to offer Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, and Noida as job location for suitable candidate)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to design and develop Azure web applications, App Services, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Virtual Machines to meet their specific requirements.
  • Architect, configure, and deploy Microsoft Azure solutions tailored to industry needs, including a wide range of applications utilizing the Azure stack (PaaS & IaaS).
  • Lead methodologies for cloud migration, implementing best practices, and developing backup and recovery techniques for applications and databases on virtualization platforms.
  • Set up Azure Recovery Vaults and Backup Policies to ensure data resilience and continuity for client services.
  • Deploy Azure Landing Zones using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation, aligning with client infrastructure requirements.
  • Implement Azure Policy to enforce compliance and governance standards, addressing regulatory and security requirements.
  • Review clients' Cloud Security Posture and recommend improvements using services such as Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
  • Design and implement IAM policies, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms to enhance identity management and access control.
  • Prepare, review, and modify Network Infrastructure Diagrams (NIR), High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), and cloud solution blueprints aligned with client project implementation requirements.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with customer’s DevOps teams, software engineers, and stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and stability of containerized applications and services.
  • Implement security best practices for Kubernetes, including RBAC, network policies, and pod security policies, to safeguard containerized workloads.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure for clients using IaC tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
  • Proficiency in using security tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and third-party security solutions.
  • Ability to conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
  • Experience in designing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
  • Strong understanding of encryption technologies and key management practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement security training and awareness programs for clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong expertise in Azure IaaS solutions, Azure PaaS solutions, Azure Landing Zones, Azure migration, Azure security, Azure DevOps, and Azure Kubernetes Services, Azure SQL Database failover group - very good knowledge in IaC tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation.
  • Extensive experience in cloud migration methodologies, best practices, and backup/ASR techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure security concepts, including IAM, RBAC, SSO, and Azure Policy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
