JOB DESCRIPTION : .

Open Position - Senior Magento Software Engineer.

Location - Pune 411045 (Hybrid).

Experience - 6+ Years.

Must-Have : Magento 2.x, Magento Cloud, PHP.

Magento Development :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Magento e-commerce solutions, ensuring scalability and robustness.

- Provide technical guidance to the development team and actively contribute to the architecture and coding aspects of Magento projects.

- Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code, utilizing best practices and design patterns in Magento development.

- Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and troubleshooting activities for Magento applications.

Coding Standards and Best Practices :

- Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for Magento development.

- Conduct regular code reviews to maintain and elevate code quality, mentor junior team members, and ensure adherence to standards.

Integration and Collaboration :

- Oversee the seamless integration of Magento with third-party systems, payment gateways, and external APIs.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions.

- Work in tandem with project managers and business analysts to align technical strategies with project objectives.

Magento Upgrades and Maintenance :

- Stay abreast of Magento updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, implementing version upgrades and performing routine maintenance tasks.

- Lead troubleshooting efforts to address complex issues and optimize the performance of Magento applications.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for Magento solutions, including architectural decisions, coding procedures, and integration points.

- Foster a culture of documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer and accessibility for team members.

Qualifications and Skills : .

- Extensive experience of 4+ years as a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on Magento development.

- Expert proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

- Proven track record with Magento 2.x, Magento Cloud, and hosting environments.

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to provide innovative and strategic solutions.

Education and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Substantial hands-on experience in Magento development, demonstrating leadership and mentorship capabilities.

- Successful contributions to large-scale e-commerce projects.

Additional Skills : .

- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce best practices and industry trends.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

- Adaptable in dynamic and fast-paced work environments.
