CCTV Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of CCTV systems , Video Door Phones, Home Automation, Fire Alarm Systems and related security equipment. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test CCTV and other systems
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the systems
• Run cables, mount cameras, and set up recording devices and monitors
• Ensure proper integration of CCTV systems with access control and alarm systems
• Diagnose faults and replace defective components
• Maintain accurate records of installations, service calls, and repairs
• Provide technical support and training to clients or internal teams
• Stay updated on the latest surveillance technologies and industry standards
• Comply with safety regulations and company protocols during installations

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (1–3 years preferred)
• Familiarity with DVR/NVR systems, IP configurations, and networking basics
• Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service abilities
• Physical fitness to handle equipment and work at heights or confined spaces
• Valid driver's license (if fieldwork is required)

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with integrated security systems
• Knowledge of remote monitoring software and mobile apps
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity as it relates to surveillance systems
