position will work collaboratively with the software engineering teams, infrastructure, and security teams to create and maintain the partner program-specific security/audit compliance requirements. The position will play a key role as part of the Security and Governance team implementing AWS Well Architect Framework’s pillars and design principles and best practices.The position plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing security automation needs. As the Security Orchestration and Automation Engineer, the position will be responsible for developing system integrations and automating processes to streamline security operations and audit compliance.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Duties and Responsibilities:The WAF Engineer is responsible for the delivery of the managed web application firewall (WAF) service, in close collaboration with the platform operation team and the SOC analysts.Act as primary contact for application owners and responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the global and application specific WAF security policy and rules.The WAF service is offered centrally as a managed service to Diligent Global clients worldwide.Web Application Security: Engineering, deployment, and operations of Web Application FirewallSecurity solutions and integration of those platforms with other security solutions as required.Performing hands-on Web Application Firewall deployment, configuration, policy fine-tuning and maintenanceThis is a hands-on technical job. Looking for an experienced candidate with extensive experience With Fortiweb/ Cloudflare/F5 /Imperva Web Application Firewall policy fine-tuning and administration.

Experience and/or

Education Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience.Typically requires overall 6-12 years of experience.

Web Application Security:Engineers, configures, deploys, and maintains Web Application Firewall solutions.Develops advanced alerts/reports to meet the requirements of key stakeholders.Develops automation for security tools management and workflow integration.Collaborates with key stakeholders within Information Security and Engineering teams to develop specific use cases to address specific business needs.Creates WAF rules/signatures to mitigate threats and implements best practices.Creation and implementation of custom alerting dashboards in SIEM for investigationsWorks extensively with different stakeholders across Diligent Global for tuning WAF policies or creating custom signatures.Aids in gathering metrics for measuring Performance and RiskProvides ongoing support to existing monitoring capabilities and data collection systems.Provides development support for the expansion and implementation of new systems.

Additional Preferred SkillsExperience with Continuous Compliance tools such as CloudCheckr, Cloud Conformity or any similar multi-cloud management tool.AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialist certification is a plus.
