Job Description Interior Designer (Interior Finishing Specialist)

Location: Hyderabad | Experience: 3-6 years

Role Overview : We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Interior Finishing Specialist to oversee, coordinate, and execute interior finishing works for our hospitality, residential and commercial projects. The role involves managing end-to-end finishing activities, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely delivery, and adherence to design, safety, and cost standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and execute interior finishing works, including flooring, false ceilings, wall finishes, joinery, painting, modular fittings, and fixtures.
  • Coordinate with architects, designers, procurement, and contractors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Inspect materials (tiles, laminates, veneers, paints, sanitary fittings, etc.) to ensure quality compliance.
  • Manage subcontractors and skilled labour, ensuring work is completed within timelines and budgets.
  • Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, and specifications, ensuring on-site execution matches design intent.
  • Monitor and maintain finishing quality standards and resolve site issues proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and track progress reports, snag lists, and handover documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.

3-7 years of experience in interior finishing works (residential, commercial, or hospitality projects preferred).

Strong knowledge of materials, finishing details, and procurement processes.

Hands-on experience with project management tools and site supervision.

Excellent eye for detail, finishing aesthetics, and quality control.

Strong coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
