Medical Oncologist

This role offers hands-on experience in diagnosing and managing solid tumors and hematologic malignancies under expert supervision. The ideal candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary care, implement evidence-based treatment plans, and grow within a research-informed, patient-centered oncology environment. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations including history, physical exams, and interpretation of imaging and lab results. Perform and interpret bone marrow biopsies and other diagnostic procedures. Develop individualized treatment plans using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy. Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust care plans collaboratively. Participate in tumor board discussions for complex case planning. Maintain accurate, compliant medical records. Stay updated on oncology guidelines, trials, and emerging therapies. Provide patient education and counseling on treatment and supportive care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care. Requirements: MBBS with MD/DM in Oncology or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Foundational knowledge in solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. Proficiency in TNM/Ann Arbor staging and staging workup interpretation. Experience in bone marrow biopsy performance and interpretation. Understanding of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy protocols. Familiarity with NCCN, ASCO, and other oncology guidelines. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and continuous learning. Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical setting. Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
