Job Title: Video Editor
Location: Bandra, Mumbai
Experience: 1-3 years
Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic content team. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of storytelling and a passion for creating compelling visual content tailored for digital platforms. You will play a key role in enhancing brand visibility and audience engagement through video.
Responsibilities:
i. Edit short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.
ii. Work closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.
iii. Trim footage segments and assemble sequences while adding transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
iv. Create motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
v. Maintain and manage a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
vi. Stay up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
vii. Handle basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
viii. Ensure projects are completed within deadlines and delivered in required formats and resolutions.
Qualifications:
i. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
ii. 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
iii. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
iv. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
v. A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
vi. Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
vii. Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
