Oracle eBTax Functional Analyst

Position Summary :

 

  • As an Oracle eBTax Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, and support of Oracle eBTax solutions to ensure compliance with local and global tax regulations and to optimize the tax management processes within our organization. You will collaborate closely with finance teams, tax professionals, and IT experts to ensure that Oracle eBTax is effectively implemented and maintained.

 

Key Duties

 

  • Configure and maintain Oracle eBTax to meet the specific tax requirements of the organization.
  • Work closely with tax professionals to ensure tax setups are accurate and up-to-date for all applicable tax jurisdictions.
  • Work to implement Oracle tax replated localizations and patches.

 

  • Analyse and understand tax-related business processes.
  • Collaborate with Tax controllers to identify legal requirements, process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system functionality.

 

  • Provide support to end-users, resolve tax related issues.
  • Address user inquiries, issues, related to tax calculation and reporting in a timely and efficient manner respecting agreed SLA.

 

  • Maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and best practices.
  • Create functional specifications for VAT reports and support developers’ team during implementation cycle.

 

School Background / Working Seniority

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with Oracle eBTax.

 

Basic Skills

  • Strong English language skills 
  • Analytical, and Problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

 

Technical / Functional skills

  • Deep knowledge of EBS financial modules – eBTax, AP, AR, GL
  • Knowledge of European tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements 
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles is a plus.
  • Oracle eBTax or Financials certification is advantageous.
  • Experience with PL/SQL is an advantage.
