Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 5+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile and API automation testing. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and implementation of automated tests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications and APIs.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test plans and test cases.- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify, troubleshoot, and report defects.- Work closely with developers to ensure testability and reliability of code.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing framework and processes.- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test coverage and quality.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automation testing.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on mobile and API automation.- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, or similar.- Strong understanding of mobile app testing on iOS and Android platforms.- Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar.- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
