Role Description
This is a remote role for a Piano Tutor at Bollypiano. The Piano Tutor will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in playing the piano, developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Tutor may also be assigned some social media-related tasks if there are not enough students initially. The Tutor is expected to commit a minimum of 6 hours per week.
Qualifications
Grade 5 in Trinity / ABRSM or have the equivalent playing level
Piano Teaching and Instruction skills
Knowledge of Music Theory and Piano Techniques
Ability to develop and implement effective lesson plans
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in teaching students of varying skill levels
Proficiency in playing and demonstrating piano pieces
Ability to read sheet music
Patience and adaptability in working with diverse students
Experience with video recording and editing for social media
