SGT University is in search of talented Team Members with good Industry Connect for its campus. The position is for a faculty member who is having minimum 10 years of experience in Placement/ Industry Integration -Commerce & Management . The University, in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers around 160+ programs in Medical and Non-Medical domains. It is a part of a group spanning the fields of education and hospitality. The University employs close to three thousand people. The campus has accommodation for employees and hostels for students and offers excellent support facilities such as shopping complex, medical facilities, sports, entertainment and transportation. The campus is located less than 5 km from the Delhi border of Daurala and offers convenient access to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.


The responsibilities for this position will include some or all of the following:


Essential:

Suitable candidate should be an enthusiastic and dynamic personality with a Graduate/master’s degree in management.

He/she should have 10 plus years of Experience in Placement function


Job Description:


Corporate Relations & Liasoning

Prospective Company Coordination: Correspond with prospective companies to schedule interview dates and organize Campus Drive schedules.

Corporate Networking: Develop and maintain a strong network within the corporate HR community to facilitate recruitment opportunities.

Team Support: Assist and support other team members to ensure overall team success and efficient operation of the placement activities.


Student Career Services:

Career Counselling and Grooming: Provide career counselling and grooming services to students to enhance their employability.

Interview Preparation: Assist students in preparing for mock interviews and developing skills for successful job placements.


Corporate Networking:

Existing Partner Management: Manage and nurture relationships with existing HR partners to secure repeat placements and internships.

Deal Closure: Utilize experience working with HR professionals to close deals and secure placements.


Placement and Internship:

Achievement of Goals: Meet or exceed placement and internship as per department requirements.


Corporate Engagement Activities:

Guest Lectures and Training: Organize and manage guest lectures, student training sessions, and workshops to enhance student skills and corporate engagement.


Expected Candidature:

A candidate should have a Graduation in Commerce & Management, Master in commerce/M.B.A in relevant discipline with Ph.D. degree and academic experience with excellent research ability. Ph.D. candidates with industry connects will be preferred.


Experience - Minimum 10 Year Experience
