Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on S3, No-SQL and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps engineers, software developers, and system administrators, to understand business requirements and provide appropriate data-lake solution.
  • Define monitoring and alerting rules in Grafana
  • Work with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, to deploy and manage metric systems in a cloud-native environment.
  • Analyse the problem proactively and implement the solution
  • Follow the CR process and execution in a defined template.
  • Provide RCA of every incident
  • Automation of repetitive task in our environment.
  • Rotation on call support (24x7)


Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 year Extensive experience as an Platform Engineer
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, K8S)
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Ability to troubleshoot and identify the issues related to Kubernetes deployment platform
  • AWS S3/Equivalent object storage , NoSQL DB (MongoDB/Cassandra) and Kafka
  • Good to have Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (such as Python) for automation.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Good to have knowledge of Devops tools like Ansible, Jenkins, sonarqube, Jfrog artifactory
