Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Manager specializing in interior design and construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our interior design staff. This role requires a deep understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Program Development:
  • Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials for interior design staff, including new hires and continuing education for existing employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Create engaging and interactive training modules, manuals, and other educational materials.
  • Training Delivery:
  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various aspects of interior design and construction.
  • Utilize a variety of training methods, including in-person, online, and blended learning approaches.
  • Provide hands-on training and practical demonstrations as necessary.
  • Performance Evaluation:
  • Develop and implement assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of trainees to ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to employees to improve their skills and performance.
  • Curriculum Management:
  • Maintain and update training curricula to reflect industry changes, new technologies, and company standards.
  • Ensure all training materials are current, accurate, and aligned with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure training programs are relevant and meet the needs of the business.
  • Communicate training schedules, objectives, and outcomes to management and staff.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Compliance and Best Practices:
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and technologies in interior design and construction.
  • Ensure all training programs comply with industry standards and legal regulations.
  • Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the training function.
