Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Your RoleJob description / Mission- Your main task will be to manage the project and steer the project team in order todeliver project in time, within the budget and according to the Customer Specification.- The main responsibilities for the Project engineer are- Collect and interpret information and translate this information into designspecification for project team- Play an active and coordinating role for various project teams / crossfunctional teams- Manage various projects at a given time while ensuring that project deliveryhappens on time in full- Completely responsible for project planning.- Close coordination with the Project Manager on all projects related to thedivision and with Service Deliver Heads for competence.- Provide technical support to the project teamExperience RequirementsBE / B Tech / M Tech in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation engineering / Electronicsand Telecommunications with Minimum 3 - 4 years of designing experience in projectexecution in an engineering or product organisation.Knowledge / Educational requirementsAt least BE / B Tech / M Tech in electrical / Instrumentation / E & T C and shall be having thefollowing experience:1. Designing and estimation of power, control and instrumentation systems forEngine/ Motor driven compressors in safe & hazardous areas for various gasesapplications like LNG, CNG gas, Biogas application packages, Nitrogen etc.2. Post-bid tendering including floating of enquiries, techno-commercial comparisons/negotiation discussions and vendor selection.3. Preparation of project activity schedules for E & I, Lead and manage the manpowerand resources, maintain hourly logging of engineering hours. Monitoring of theproject document preparation and approval at review meetings and ensure timelydelivery of documents4. Preparation of P & I Diagrams as per ISA, Cause and effect list, specifications ofelectrical equipment’s as well as all instruments, G A and wiring diagrams of theRelay/ PLC based Control panels, cable schedules, terminal schedules, ferruleschedules, Instrument BOM, cabling accessories BOM, Logic diagrams and controlwrite-ups, etc. for Compressor plants/ generating sets. Also generating of electricaland instrumentation BOM in ERP software’s.5. Approval of GA / wiring diagrams & datasheets for motor, panels and instrumentsfrom Customers.6. Selection of electric motors, Relay / PLC based control panels, SCADA, Dataloggers, Controllers and cables for hazardous as well as safe areas.7. Selection of Instruments such as gauges, Indicators, Indicating controllers,transmitters, recorders, Flow meters, orifices, Control valves, On/Off valves andSolenoid valves for hazardous as well as safe areas.8. On receipt as well as vendor’s place inspection of motors, control panels, MCC’sand all instruments as per QAP/ specifications/ approved datasheets.9. Development of team by preparation of the competency matrix and IDP( Individualdevelopment plan for individual engineers, understanding their training needs andtheir training through internal as well as external means. Monitoring and review ofperformance and capabilities of individuals at regular intervals.10. Co-ordination with client / consultants and suppliers for technical discussions,document approval process.11. Commissioning / trouble shooting assistance for relay/ PLC based control panels,instruments and HT/ LT motors driven as well as engine driven compressors.12. To contribute towards the development of the technical databank, formats for alldocuments focusing the standardization needs, developing processes fordocumentation, training and presentations for juniors, formatting of checklist forvarious work activities based on experience.13. Pre-bid tender support to Sales/ customer canters department in estimation ofelectrical and instrumentation systems meeting end customer’s requirement on topmost priority. Attending the technical meetings during pre-order and post-order.Software skill requirement:Must be proficient in- AutoCAD Electrical,- AutoCAD Mechanical,- MS Excel- MedusaAdvantage having proficiency in Eplan Software (P8 Prof & Panel Pro)Must be having good knowledge of- Inventor,- MS office suite,- SAP Software’s,- PLC’s for Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s,Personality requirements:- Must be confident enough to take on challenges, ready to travel / posting for site support (ifneeded), and ability to develop team
