Job Description

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, managing client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will play a crucial role in defining and implementing QA processes, driving test strategy, and ensuring adherence to best practices.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance.

Proven experience leading and managing a team of QA engineers.

Strong client management and communication skills.

Extensive experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Usability Testing, and Compatibility Testing.

Solid understanding of manual & Automation testing methodologies and best practices.

Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Requirements

Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of QA engineers.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to team members.

Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.

Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.

Client Management & Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding QA activities.

Understand client requirements and translate them into effective test plans.

Provide regular updates and reports to clients on testing progress and results.

Manage client expectations and address any concerns promptly.

Test Planning & Execution:
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Define and implement QA processes and methodologies.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Usability Testing, and Compatibility Testing.

Perform thorough manual testing to identify defects and ensure software quality.

Coordinate and execute testing activities across multiple projects.

Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.

Work closely with development teams to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes.

Analyze defect trends and provide insights to improve software quality.

Automation Testing (Plus):
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

Implement and manage automated testing processes.

Analyze automation test results and identify areas for improvement.

Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare and present detailed test reports and metrics.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
