Group Profile:Unifi Capital is a 22-year-old investment management firm managing assets over INR 24,000 Cr on behalf of ~11,300 clients across PMS, AIF, and advisory platforms, and is sponsor to an MF.ResponsibilitiesIndependently handle accounts of an investment firm/company as well as the personal income tax .Regular liaison with Auditors, consultants.Responsible for timely completion of Audits.Handling of Direct and Indirect Tax & its compliance including reconciliations Ensuring proper accounting of Mutual Fund investments, other investments, Redemptions, Interest accruals, valuations etc.,Maintain all relevant files/data in well-organized manner Interact with Banks and obtain information as and when required.Responsible for filing IT returns and other returns of Senior professionals.Skills and abilities:Strong knowledge and working experience in areas of Accounting, Direct & Indirect Tax.Knowledge of stock broking will be an advantage.Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power-point. Sound Analytical & English Communication Skills both verbal and writtenQualifications: Master’s degree (with First class Honours)Preferred experience: 10 years and aboveLocation: ChennaiCompensation: As per industry standards.
