Natobotics - Site Reliability Engineer - Configuration Management Tools

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems.

- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.

- Implement strategies to improve system uptime and reduce downtime.

- Respond to system outages and performance issues promptly and effectively.

- Implement incident response procedures and conduct post-incident reviews.

- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing.

- Configure monitoring tools to track system health and performance metrics.

- Implement alerting systems to notify the appropriate teams of issues.

- Work with security teams to ensure system security and compliance.

- Implement security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance.

- Work with infrastructure teams to provision and manage infrastructure resources.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in system administration or DevOps.

- Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems.

- Proficiency in scripting languages Python, Bash, PowerShell.

- Experience with configuration management tools Ansible, Puppet, Chef.


- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience :

- Certifications in cloud platforms or security.

- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

- Knowledge of chaos engineering principles.

- Experience with incident response and disaster recovery
