Job Title: Security Expert Department: IT / Network SecurityLocation: Gandhinagar, GujaratExperience Required: Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar roleQualification:BE / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology or related fieldCISSP or equivalent Network Administrator–level certification (or higher certification)Job Responsibilities:Plan and implement comprehensive security policies and practices for the entire IT infrastructure.Perform regular signature updates , manage antivirus and patch updates , and ensure blocking of unwanted network traffic .Manage and maintain network security operations on a day-to-day basis.Monitor and respond to flooding, DoS, and intrusion attempts in real time during office hours.Conduct regular security audits , vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary preventive measures.Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure network integrity and data protection .Maintain updated documentation for all security configurations, incidents, and resolutions .Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs .Hands-on experience in security monitoring tools and incident response management .Proficiency in patch management, endpoint protection, and access control mechanisms .Ability to analyze logs , identify threats, and provide corrective actions promptly.Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
