Senior devops engineer Full-Time

Job Description:
• Collaborate with software developers, system operators and other IT staffmembers to manage code releases
• Design tools for managing the infrastructure and program clean & re-usablesimple codes.
• Develop codes for extensive test coverage, perform continuous deployment in aprofessional software engineering environment.
• Work on various platforms with different programming languages and support theproduction cluster management system.
• Configure server images, optimize the task performance in correspondence withthe engineers• Build automated deployments through the use of configuration managementtechnology
• Deploy new modules and upgrades and complete fixes within the productionenvironment.
• Troubleshooting existing information systems for errors and resolving thoseerrors
Skills:
• Hands on experience in networking security, databases and cloud systems
• Profound knowledge in various scripting languages, system & serveradministration and mass system deployments
• Wide knowledge in operating system administration, programming languages,cloud platform deployment and networking protocols
• Outstanding knowledge in release engineering J2EE configuration, creating toolsfor engineering organization for performance optimization
• Hands on knowledge of code repositories like Github, Bitbucket etc.
• Hands on knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Hands on knowledge of configuration management tools like Puppet/Chef etc.
• Practical knowledge of test automation systems like Selenium
• Practical knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios or AWS monitoring tools
• Knowledge to containerisation tools like Docker
KRA:
• Production Uptime• # of downtime or security incidents in given time
• Time taken to resolve such incidents
• Timeliness in resolving developers need for code repository access, branchcreation and merge
• Timeliness in deployments to QA, Staging or Production Environments
• Adherence to organisation's quality standards towards code quality
• Innovation and improvement in CI/CD processes
