Candidates should have worked on migration projects in the past.
Should have knowledge on migrating from legacy to the modern DBs such as Snowflake.
Should have good knowledge on modern DBs like snowflake – ingestion of data, handling the real time data by using streams, tasks, various way of loading and unloading the data.
Creating pipelines for the continuously loading the data
Optimizing the SQLs using cluster keys
Knowledge on writing the stored procedures as well as functions which are compatible to the legacy system
From Legacy stand POV, candidates should have good knowledge on the concepts of ETL, strong in writing SQL queries
Good to have knowledge on integration ETL tools such as IICS, Informatica.
