Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Prompt Engineering Team Lead to join our AI development team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, along with a proven track record in leading technical teams. This role involves overseeing the creation, optimization, and implementation of AI prompts to ensure high-quality outputs and seamless user interactions.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Training and assisting AI trainers to do high-quality tasks on the platform.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of prompt engineers and NLP specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Equip AI trainers with the knowledge, skills, and resources required to succeed on our platform.
  • Reviewing and auditing the AI trainer's performance.

Prompt Development and Optimization:

  • Design, develop, and refine AI prompts to enhance user experience and interaction quality.
  • Implement best practices for prompt engineering, including prompt structuring, contextual understanding, and error handling.

Project Management:

  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for prompt engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, data science, and software engineering to align on goals and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Research and Innovation:

  • Evaluate and integrate new tools, techniques, and methodologies to enhance prompt engineering processes.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new approaches to prompt engineering and user interaction.

Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and maintain rigorous testing protocols for prompt validation.
  • Monitor and analyse prompt performance metrics to identify and address issues.
  • Ensure prompts meet ethical and inclusivity standards, minimizing biases and ensuring fair user interactions.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of prompt engineering practices, guidelines, and project progress.
  • Prepare and present reports on prompt performance, project status, and team achievements to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in AI prompt engineering as mandatory and familiarity with NLP, ML or related fields is a plus.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong background in prompt engineering, with a portfolio of successful AI prompts.
  • Deep understanding of AI model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Proven experience in Advanced prompting, patterns and finetuning techniques - Zero shot, One shot, Few shot prompting, Chain of Thought (COT), Tree of Thought (ToT), Chain of density (CoD) etc.,
  • Demonstrated team lead experience, with a track record of successfully leading and mentoring prompt engineers.
