Associate/Senior Associate – Instruction Design

About the Role:

This position is responsible for designing and developing high-quality online programs in collaboration with top-tier universities across the US globe.


Role & Responsibilities:

· Build and align content with the learning outcomes, learning activities, and stakeholder specifications.

· Design storyboards for engaging and visually appealing videos to enhance learning effectiveness.

· Use visual design principles and techniques to conceptualize content, articulate ideas, and design multimedia elements.

· Collaborate with the production team and provide clear and concise instructions.

· Perform QA and QC to ensure the learning materials in the learning platform conform with the quality standards.

· Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.

· Deliver projects on time and ensure they meet the high-quality benchmarks of the organization.

· Participate in internal continuous improvement efforts by offering ideas and solutions for process improvement.

· Remain current with and have a thorough understanding of the emerging applications of instructional multimedia, instructional technology, and trends in online education, and propose improvements as appropriate.


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

· 2 to 8 years of experience in instructional design and online content development

· Excellent communication, presentation, and time management skills

· Knowledge of real-world application of adult learning theories and instructional design principles

· Demonstrated experience in scripting engaging storyboards that effectively convey ideas

· Demonstrated experience in designing and developing visually compelling videos and other multimedia assets

· Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and authoring tools such as Articulate 360 and H5P

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

· Attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication, management, and organizational skills

· Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills


Skills and Knowledge:

· Degree or certification in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred

· Demonstrated skill working with online learning tools and software

· Experience designing or converting courses for online delivery

· Knowledge of the backward design model

· Experience working on Learning Management Systems (LMS)

· Knowledge of accessibility standards

· Familiarity with known course design quality standards (e.g., Quality Matters)
