About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer with over 4 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate must be proficient in Java, Selenium, and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Design and implement BDD test frameworks using tools like Cucumber or JBehave.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure their resolution.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Continuously enhance test automation frameworks and tools to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Participate in code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of test scripts.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in test automation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
Strong proficiency in Java and Selenium.
Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
Knowledge of RESTful API testing and tools (e.g., Postman).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
