Land acquisition

Key Responsibilities:Identify and acquire suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects (solar/wind) across Maharashtra, considering technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.Lead and manage the end-to-end land acquisition process including scouting, negotiation, documentation, registration, and handover.Build and manage relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.Conduct title due diligence and ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.Oversee Ro W (Right of Way) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.Keep track of local land price trends, zoning regulations, and state incentives to ensure cost-effective deals.Supervise a field team of land officers, surveyors, and external consultants.Handle conflict resolution and address any legal or community-related land acquisition issues.Regularly update management on project progress, risk factors, and mitigation plans.
