We are on a journey to enable developer friendly, mission-critical, AI enabled operational Databases across relational, non-relational and OSS offerings.Azure Cosmos DB is one of the fastest growing Azure services that provides globally distributed, low-latency, massively scalable, multi-model cloud database service. It is designed to enable developers to build planet-scale applications.We are hiring a Software Engineer 2 to join the Azure Cosmos DB team, where you will be working on a large-scale, distributed, transactional and analytical database. This role is on the team that works on Storage , Vector Indexes, Inverted Indexes, Database Engines and other LSM (Log Structured Store) technologies. In this role, you will work on core engine and distributed systems problems that power the planet scale database.We do not just value differences or different perspectives. Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#,OR equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in software design, development, and delivery experience using a structured programming languageOther RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafterPreferred/Additional QualificationsDegree in Computer ScienceOR related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Go Java, JavaScript, OR PythonOR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Go, Java, JavaScript, or PythonOR equivalent experience#azdat#azuredata#cosmosdb
Responsibilities
