Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer at Syntec Airflow System, located in Gurugram. The Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer will be responsible for performing mechanical engineering calculations, designing HVAC systems and plumbing, and overseeing the implementation of these systems in various industries.


Qualifications

  • HVAC Design and Calculation skills
  • Knowledge of Plumbing and Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and their installation
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in designing HVAC systems and conducting engineering calculations for commercial and industrial projects
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other industry-standard software
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the Cleanroom and HVAC systems industries is a plus.

Responsibilities for HVAC design engineer

•          Develop construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD MEP in 3D

•          Provide program management to support department milestone activities Identify current model quality and value up ideas to support adoption

•          Identifies, investigates, and recommends improvements in products, systems, or processes to improve the application or operation

•          Develop detailed designs from the schematic designs for medium/large projects and develop schematics for small to medium projects

•          Shall check and review of work done by self

•          Able to present their technical work

•          Able to make and quote BOQs and RDS sheets.

•          Should have experience in cleanroom design.

•          Should have knowledge of ISO and ASHRAE Standards.

•          Managing one’s own time

•          Includes defining the problem, establishing the work scope, preparing the budget and schedule, planning the work, providing technical direction, and reporting the work status

•          Development and release responsibility for HVAC Components such as A/C System parts, Air Handling system parts including Ducts, Heater hoses, Battery Cooling system parts and brackets

•          Generate or modify program-specific component specifications that ensure compliance to all Vehicle Technical Specifications and sub-system requirements (incl

•          Experience in delivering projects in BIM and relevant discipline software

•          3-5 year of experience with AutoCAD or equivalent tool, Microsoft Excel, and project

•          Working knowledge and familiarity with Revit models for mechanical systems design modeling, review, and interference check is a plus

•          Knowledge of mechanical codes and standards including fire protection
