Key Responsibilities :

- Tech Leadership : Establish our technology stack and best practices.

- Hands-On Coding : Develop scalable, maintainable code across the stack.

- Strategic Input : Translate product vision into technical requirements.

- Mentorship & Growth : Guide future engineering hires and foster a strong tech culture.

Technical Skills :

- Backend : Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, with extensive experience in backend frameworks such as Express or similar.

- Database : Proficiency with MongoDB, PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Understanding of database design principles and experience with ORMs.

- APIs / Integrations : Proven experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and Graphql.

- Architecture : Experience with designing scalable systems.

- DevOps : Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Performance and Security - Implement robust security measures and optimise backend processes.
