Position Summary

ACS is seeking an agile and proactive professional to help grow ACS’s self-reliance in QA and development activities. This individual will be responsible for automating and manual testing efforts within the QA team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts. The ideal candidate will have a background in automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The incumbent will need to work closely with different divisions and IT departments in ACS headquarters in Washington DC to get alignment for QA efforts in development and enhancement of ACS products.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation frameworks and tools.
  • Create and execute automated test scripts to validate system functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
  • Monitor and maintain existing automation systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans, reports, and user manuals.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in automation engineering or software development with minimum 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, JMeter).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, CSS, XML, Python, or C#.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in automation or related fields.
  • Experience with cloud-based automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Additional Information

1. Location: This position requires the candidate to be based in Delhi, India (Hybrid Work Mode : 2-3 days/week at Office).

2. Collaboration: The role involves close collaboration with ACS’s team in Washington DC, other technical constituents globally, and local IT partners in India.
