We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium (Java) and API automation (Rest Assured), who can design, implement, and maintain robust automation frameworks.The ideal candidate should be comfortable with modern testing tools, CI/CD integration, and Agile delivery environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Selenium-based automation frameworks (POM, Data-driven, Hybrid).Build API test scripts using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.Develop and maintain reusable test utilities and functions for scalability.Create and execute automation scripts for web, mobile, and API layers.Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and Dev Ops engineers to ensure quality delivery.Analyze test failures, debug automation scripts, and perform root cause analysis.Manage test data, environment configurations, and execution reports (Extent / Allure).Mentor team members on automation best practices and code reviews.Technical Skills RequiredAutomation Tools:Selenium Web Driver with JavaTest NG / Cucumber / JUnit for test orchestrationRest Assured for API automationPlaywright / Cypress experience (advantage)Appium for mobile automation (basic to intermediate)Programming:Strong in Core Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, File I/O)Hands-on with synchronization (explicit/fluent waits) and dynamic element handlingExperience in framework design (Page Object Model, Hybrid, Data-driven)Basic knowledge of Java Script/Type Script (for Playwright or Cypress)Dev Ops / CI-CD:Jenkins pipeline setup and schedulingGit, Git Hub, or Bitbucket for version controlKnowledge of Docker / Selenium Grid for distributed executionReports & Tools:Extent Reports, Allure, or Report NGMaven / Gradle build toolsJIRA / Azure Dev Ops for defect tracking and Agile boardsProcess KnowledgeWorking knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologyUnderstanding of Definition of Done, story estimation, and sprint deliverablesExposure to test management tools (Zephyr, Xray, Test Rail, etc.)
