Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable Node.js applications for the BFSI sector, focusing on Payments solutions.
  • Architect and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable systems that comply with BFSI regulations and standards.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs and microservices to support various banking and financial services, ensuring seamless data flow and transaction processing.
  • Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins. Ensure automated testing and deployment processes are in place.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes/ OpenShift, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Implement automated testing frameworks and perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure application reliability and security.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Ensure all applications comply with security standards and regulatory requirements specific to the BFSI sector, including data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Proactively suggest improvements and optimizations to the development process and product architecture.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior developers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Node.js development, with at least 2 years in the BFSI domain, preferably in Payments applications.
  • Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and serverless computing.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
  • In-depth understanding of security best practices, especially in the context of financial applications.
  • Solid understanding of the BFSI domain, particularly Payments applications, including payment gateways, transaction processing, and related financial services.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
