Biocon Biologics, a global leader in biopharmaceuticals, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager of Business Development for Advanced Markets. The General Manager will play a crucial role in expanding Biocon Biologics' presence in advanced markets by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

- Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential growth opportunities in advanced markets.- Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for advanced markets that aligns with the company's overall objectives and growth targets.- Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, distributors, healthcare providers, and government agencies.- and M&A: Evaluate and negotiate licensing agreements, acquisitions, and strategic investments to expand Biocon Biologics' product portfolio and market presence.- with the R&D team and the commercial leads to improve the identification of deals of interest and drive diligence to quickly come to “go” or “no go” decisions- cross-functional evaluations of all aspects of biosimilar programs from preclinical through clinical stages across the relevant assessment areas: preclinical data, manufacturing, regulatory strategy, clinical development path, intellectual property and commercial potential- and Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including product licensing, distribution agreements, and commercialization partnerships.- Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners, customers, and key opinion leaders in the advanced markets.- Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure that all business development activities comply with relevant regulations and quality standards.- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal departments, including R&D, manufacturing, legal, and regulatory affairs, to ensure successful execution of business development initiatives.- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.- Analysis: Conduct financial assessments, including forecasting, budgeting, and ROI analysis, to evaluate the feasibility and profitability of potential business opportunities.- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders to update them on business development progress and results.
